Cicciolina, Moana porn guru dies

(ANSA) - Rome, December 10 - The Italian porn king who made stars of Cicciolina and Moana Pozzi has died aged 59 after a long fight against diabetes. Sicilian-born Riccardo Schicchi, a svengali-like figure who built an empire around the two most famous porn actresses of the 1980s, is credited with changing attitudes about porn in Catholic Italy. His Diva Futura stable included his wife Eva Henger while he also worked extensively with an iconic male performer who became famous worldwide, Rocco Siffredi. Schicchi's longstanding collaboration with Cicciolina, the break-out porn star of her generation, included forays into politics and she was briefly an MP for the Radical Party. When her career waned he made an even bigger splash with the late Moana, who often appeared on mainstream TV chat shows and whose memoirs caused a flutter in the Rome political world.
