Buenos Aires, March 2 - Ruggero Pasquarelli is the Italian star of the new Disney Channel Latin America TV show 'Soy Luna', where he co-stars alongside Mexican actress Karol Sevilla who plays the title role of Luna. Pasquarelli spoke to ANSA following a press conference in the Argentinian capital on Tuesday, and said although he is currently an actor, he plays piano and guitar, and his real dream is to become a musician. The 22-year-old has lived in Buenos Aires for several years, where he starred in the Disney show 'Violetta', and said his new show, where he plays a character named Matteo, is focused on rollerskating, not music. "My character is a bit ambiguous, the son of diplomats," said Pasquarelli, who hails from Pescara in the region of Abruzzo but whose family is originally from Naples. "Matteo has travelled a lot, which is why he doesn't get too close to anyone. In fact he only has one friend in the group on the show, but when he skates he's the best skater," he said. When asked what he misses about Italy, Pasquarelli said: "pasta, but most of all my family". "My brother is 12 years old now and I've been living in Buenos Aires for a long time, so I missed part of his growing up, even though I must say Argentina treats me quite well". In the coming days Pasquarelli will travel to Brazil to begin a multiple-country promotional tour with the cast of Soy Luna, which is scheduled to premier on Disney Channel Latin America on March 14.
