engaged to marry an Italian barman.

I never expected to find an Italian partner, which makes me smile," said the 31-year-old Japanese-American singer-songwriter on her official website. Marking her second marriage, she is reportedly set to tie the knot May 23 with Francesco Calliano, a 23-year-old from the southern Puglia region, who works at the Bulgari Hotel in London, where the two met.
The ceremony will take place in the cathedral of Polignano a Mare, where the groom-to-be's parents were also married.
Born in New York, Utada made her debut at 16 with the album First Love, which with seven million copies sold still holds the record in Japan.
