(see related)(ANSA) - Rome, June 5 - Anti-establishment
5-Star Movement (M5S) chief Beppe Grillo tweeted Friday that MP
Luigi Di Maio is suing (Democratic Party president Matteo)
Orfini for damages after he said the M5S "has the same line" as
the mafia.
Orfini is also the special commissioner for the Rome branch
of the ruling PD after several of its local officials were
arrested in a sweeping probe into an alleged crime syndicate
based in the nation's capital involving politicians,
businessmen, and mobsters.
"I wish to explain to the M5S, whose main figures are
idolized by Ostia (mob) clans, that becoming idols of the clans
is no coincidence when one has the same line as a clan, when
one's leader says 'the mafia doesn't exist' and one calls for
(Rome Mayor Ignazio) Marino - who fights crime - to go home,"
Orfini said said at a press conference Thursday after the arrest
of 44 suspects, including several PD officials and ex-officials.
"The Marino administration is a bulwark against organized
crime," Orfini said referring Rome Mayor Ignazio Marino's city
executive.
"Orfini is very good at playing with his Play Station like
a 15-year-old while the mafia gobbles Rome up," Grillo wrote on
his popular blog.
"Mafia Capitale is not a videogame or a TV series," he
wrote on the post that came with a photo of Orfini and Premier
Matteo Renzi using a Play Station during a regional election
vote count last weekend.
