(ANSA) - Ragusa, December 9 - Veronica Panarello was
interrogated for eight hours ending early Tuesday morning by
prosecutors in connection with the murder of her young son,
sources said.
Panarello was detained by police for more questioning in
the death of Loris Stival, 8, on November 29.
The child had been strangled and his body dumped in a
canal.
Sources said the mother is a suspect in the death of the
boy, after several elements of her story of what happened the
morning the child disappeared have been questioned.
She denies the allegations, including a possible charge of
concealing a corpse.
"I did not kill my child," said Panarello.
