Bologna, February 7 - An Italian woman who murdered her three-year-old son in the northern town of Cogne in 2002 has been freed after serving her time, ANSA sources said Thursday. Annamaria Franzoni was sentenced to 16 years in 2008 for killing Samuele on January 30, 2002. She has now been informed by a Bologna surveillance court that her term has been served. She had been under house arrest at Ripoli Santa Cristina in the Bolognese Appennines since June 2014.
