Earthquake rocks Mt Etna
Schools evacuated at Ragalna, Nicolosi and Bronte
Catania, January 30 - A 3.5-magnitude earthquake and seismic swarm hit the Mt Etna area Monday causing schools to be evacuated in three nearby towns, Ragalna, Nicolosi and Bronte. Some 50 shocks were felt in all, and residents of Catania phoned police but there no reports of injuries or property damage.
