ANSA website third among Italy 'top brands' - Reuters
Used by 23% interviewed, main source for 8%
Rome, June 15 - The ANSA website is the third-ranking Italian site as far as weekly use is concerned and as a source of Web news in the country, according to a Reuters annual survey of Top Brands out Wednesday. The ANSA site is used by 23% of those interviewed while it is considered the main source of news by 8%, the report said. Ahead of ANSA are Repubblica.it, use by 33% of those interviewed and considered as main source by 11%, and TgCom24 with, respectively, 28% and 10%. SkyTG24 is joint third with ANSA for weekly use and fourth in the ranking of main news source with 7%. Corriere della Sera is fifth with 21% and 4%. The survey reiterated that Italians overwhelmingly choose to get their news from the TV.
