Renzi hails positive INPS jobs data

(see related)Rome, January 19 - Premier Matteo Renzi on Tuesday hailed positive new jobs data from INPS pensions and social security agency, saying they were created thanks to his much-contested Jobs Act labor reform. "Over half a million permanent new jobs in 2015," he tweeted. "INPS demonstrates absurdity of Jobs Act controversy. #fullsteamahead". Unions fought strenuously against the Jobs Act, which rolls back some job safety guarantees while also providing incentives for employers who make new permanent hires.
