Florence, May 31 - Another water pipe burst in Florence Tuesday following last week's rupture that caused a huge sinkhole near the Ponte Vecchio. A lane of a road had to be closed after the latest incident, which occurred in the Careggi district. Authorities said the new breakage could be repaired in two days. The 200m sinkhole on the Arno embankment is slated to be repaired by November 4, the anniversary of a catastrophic 1966 flood.
