Man convicted of murdering wife, children (2)

Pavia, January 18 - A man who killed his wife and two small children in June 2014 was sentenced to life imprisonment Monday. Carlo Lissi, 34, murdered his wife Maria Cristina Omes, his daughter Giulia, 5, and son Gabriele, 20 months, on 14 June 2014 at Motta Visconti near Pavia. Lissi confessed to killing his wife and two small children before watching Italy's opening World Cup match, in which they beat England. Lissi told police the motive was his love for a co-worker who did not reciprocate.
