Pope Francis handwrites letter to accompany Exhortation

Vatican City, April 8 - Pope Francis prepared a handwritten letter in Italian to bishops to accompany the release of his post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation "Amoris Laetitia" ("The Joy of Love") on Friday. The letter said: "Dear brother: invoking the protection of the Holy Family of Nazareth, I am pleased to send you my Exhortation 'Amoris Laetitia' for the good of all families and all people, young and elderly, entrusted to your pastoral ministry. United in the Lord Jesus, with Mary and Joseph, I ask you to not forget to pray for me. Franciscus".
