Intercity train kills young woman

(ANSA) - Bari, June 11 - A young woman died after being run over by a train, Polfer railway police said Thursday. The Intercity 612 from Taranto to Rome with some 100 passengers on board ran the victim over at a station in the town of Giovinazzo, some 20 kms north of Bari. Circulation on the Bari-Foggia line has slowed down following the incident, Ferrovie dello Stato rail company said.
