US dealership suit 'unfounded' says FCA (2)

Rome, January 14 - Fiat Chrsyler Automobiles (FCA) on Thursday said a reported suit from a US car dealership on allegedly inflated United States sales figures was "unfounded". It said FCA had yet to receive the suit but "the company is convinced the suit is unfounded". It was earlier reported that two Chicago car dealerships have filed suits alleging the carmaker inflated its US sales figures. The Automotive News website said the dealerships accused the company of offering money to report unsold vehicles as sold.
