Cinema: Quo Vado sets Italian box office record of 52mn (2)

Rome, January 13 - Quo vado?, the latest film starring Italian comedian Checco Zalone, generated 52.16645 million euros at the box office between its release on January 1 and January 12, setting a new all-time record for an Italian movie. Beating off competition from the latest episode in the Star Wars saga in the holiday period, over 7.3 million tickets were sold for the film at Cinetel-certified cinemas. The previous box-office record was held by another Zalone film, Sole a Catinelle, which generated 51,948550 million euros in 2013.
