Milan, January 12 - The share price of troubled Italian bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) fell by 3.62% to 0.89 euros during mid-morning trading on Tuesday after being readmitted following a brief suspension due to excessive volatility. The lender's shares had risen by 2.2% to 0.94 euros at the start of trading, the day after it lost 11% on the Milan bourse. Carige Bank also saw its share price rise by 3.65% to 0.93 euros at the start of trading before dropping 1.46% to 0.87 euros mid-morning. Like MPS, the Genoa-based lender took a knocking on Monday with its share value falling by 13%.
