Vatican postal service to accept Italian payment slips
(ANSA) - Vatican City, January 4 - Users of the Vatican's postal service will soon be able to make money transfers using postal payment slips issued in Italy, Poste Vaticane said on Friday. The new service will be operational from January 7 at a cost of 1.50 euros. It will be available at the Vatican's central post office and at the branch offices in St Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums.
Poste Vaticane will accept both pre-printed postal payment slips with and without a barcode and blank slips that have to be filled in by hand.
