Turin police file charges against 82 No-TAV activists

Turin, August 9 - Turin police on Friday filed charges against 82 No-TAV activists and sympathisers for demonstrations at the Chiomonte construction site of the planned Turin-Lyon high-speed rail link at the end of July. Police also issued 28 expulsion orders from the towns of Giaglione and Chiomonte. The demonstrations took place as part of a No-TAV Youth Camp and the Alta Felicità No-TAV Festival.
