Cagliari-Rome flight scrubbed due to bird strike

Cagliari, July 2 - An Alitalia flight from Cagliari to Rome was cancelled Tuesday due to a bird strike. A bird ended up in one of the plane's engines when it was landing at Cagliari, and the aircraft was grounded for checks. Passengers were put onto other flights.
