Users own, control their data-Facebook after Italian penalty

Rome, December 7 - Facebook said Friday that its users have full control of their data after Italy's antitrust authority said it was fining the social network 10 million euros for allegedly breaching the consumer code. "We are examining the antitrust's decision and we hope to be able to work with them to clarify the accusations," a company spokesperson said. "People have possession and control of their personal information on Facebook".
