Di Maio appoints Discepolo new Alitalia commissioner

Rome, December 6 - Deputy Premier and Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio on Thursday nominated Daniele Discepolo to be one of Alitalia's extraordinary commissioners. Discepolo will take the place of Luigi Gubitosi, who has been appointed CEO of Telecom Italia (TIM). Stefano Paleari, another of the commissioners on the former flag-carrier, said Thursday that the company, which is currently in administration, "will end 2018 with a turnover well above three billion euros for the first time".
