Rome, December 28 - Over half of foreign residents, or 57%, came to Italy in search of jobs, Istat national statistics agency said Monday in a report on labor market integration based on 2014 second-quarter data. The second most common reason for foreigners to move to Italy was family, with 39% of respondents, most of them women, saying this was why they immigrated. As well, Istat said there were 2.3 employed million foreign-born residents aged 15-74 as of the second quarter last year.
