Washington, January 13 - United States President Barack Obama on Thursday repealed a law granting automatic residency to Cuban migrants arriving in the country in another "important step" towards normalising relations between the two countries. The special immigration policy for Cubans, introduced by Bill Clinton, belonged to "another era", Obama said. From now on they will be treated like all other immigrants. Critics described the move as a "farewell gift to Raul Castro".
