Naples, December 28 - On-fire Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain said Monday he felt "great joy" at being compared to legendary predecessor Diego Maradona. Maradona led Napoli to two scudetti, in 1987 and 1990, during the all-time great's memorable spell at the club. Higuain has been on top form this season, topping the Serie A goalscoring chart with 16 strikes from 17 games to leave Napoli third, one point behind leaders Inter. "Diego Maradona? I'm Argentinian like he is, but wearing this shirt is not a burden - it is a satisfaction," Higuain told Mediaset Premium Sport. "He is an extraordinary player in the history of football and is loved at Napoli. Being compared to him is a source of great joy."
