Caserta, December 30 - Naples tax police on Wednesday seized 2.5 million euros' worth of personal property and real estate from Camorra boss Alfonso Cacciapuoti, one of the heads of the Casalesi clan. The seized assets included a livestock company with about 200 heads of buffalo and a thoroughbred horse. Cacciapuoti, former right-hand man to Francesco "Sandokan" Schiavone, is currently serving a 14-year prison term for mafia crimes. The Casalesis are a powerful clan based at Casal di Principe north of Naples whose death threats have forced anti-mafia writer Roberto Saviano into hiding.
