Ennio Morricone wins Golden Globe for Hateful Eight (2)

Los Angeles, January 11 - Ennio Morricone won the Golden Globe for best original score for Quentino Tarantino's The Hateful Eight Sunday. The director accepted the award on behalf of the Italian composer, thanking Morricone in Italian. Morricone, 87, has two previous Golden Globes but Tarantino said ""Morricone has never won a prize, only in Italy, not here in America". Tarantino said Morricone, who made his name with Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns, was his favourite composer...like Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert".
