Naples, January 5 - A mobster was gunned down in a bar at Melito just north of Naples Tuesday. Luigi Di Rupo, 24, was the victim of the local Camorra mafia in a turf war, police said. Two hitmen followed him into the bar and hit him with at least two shots as customers cowered for cover. Di Rupo was close to the Amato-Pagano clan, based in the northern Naples suburb of Secondigliano, police said. He had a record for weapons possession and not, as originally reported, drugs offences.
